How To Play Asarai Mainama
Asharai Mahinama is a Nepali folk
song which is covered by many old and new Nepali musicians. One of the most
popular folk songs in Nepal which is one of the most heart touching Nepali
songs. Preliminarily, it was recorded by Chujan Dukpa who is believed to be the
author of this song but it has its route to Nepali folk of the hilly region.
Many versions were recorded later on, the modern version was later recorded by
singer Diwas Gurung but the original recording is golden and way better than
any other versions. An improvised instrumental version was recorded by
instrumental folk band Kutumba in 2005 which became their greatest hit.
